Louisiana gives the public broad access to many court records under R.S. 44:1, R.S. 44:31, and R.S. 44:32, while juvenile, adoption, sealed, expunged, and protected records have limits. The hard part is figuring out which office holds the file you want. The Jefferson Davis Parish Clerk of Court handles district court filings, probate, marriage licenses, and certified copies. The Sheriff's Office manages jail roster information. City courts and state agencies hold other records. We pull together the contact details, search portals, fee schedules, and request steps for each office into one place.
